Friends in Life

Friends are whom we share our joys and sorrows with, the Books to our soul who enlighten us

But, like chapters, there are the different categories of friends, to wit

Timepass friends, who speak to you only when they are totally free

Gossip friends, babblers only too keen on gossiping about people and don’t mind their own business

Childhood friends, whom we grow up together with

School/ College friends, with whom we spend our time at school/ college

Colleagues with whom we spend our time at the office

Soul Sisters who take care of you as their own sibling and who you will look forward to for advice and emotional support. They’ll guide you through the maze whenever fate takes a turn

Friends for Life who need not necessarily commune with you every day but will be out there to keep a check on you and connect through telepathy

They know when you are sad and give their shoulders to cry on and rejoice in your happiness with you

Busy friends who don’t have time to spare for anything but others have to spare their own time for them when they need to enjoy

Friends are the most precious possession. They are the pillar of strength and light to your darkness. They’re the few who accept quietude over conversation. You’re grateful for who they are and absolve them for what they’re not

Friends are honest about their opinions and do not talk about you behind your back

If you are angry at them, they patiently listen to you, understand your problem and help in sorting out the problem which deems mar the relationship

True friends cry when you leave. Fake friends leave when you cry

A friend is a person who knows all about you and still likes you. Someone we treasure for true friendship is priceless

A friend is someone who gives you total freedom to be yourself, whose love comes in wholes, not halves, not quarts, always around to help me up when I am down

I value all my friends who for me find time on their calendar, but I also cherish the friend who for me does not consult their calendar
